Responsiblities: - Setup and maintenance development and test platforms for different projects, this includes:
- OS and database installation (various versions depending on projects)
- Network setup
Configuration of the equipment fit for development and testing, e.g., installation of various 3rd party software, server clustering, mirroring, Oracle RAC, etc - Manage the system administration activities for the development and test platform
- Evaluate and propose system solutions as and when needed, to improve work efficiency, and/or to optimize the system resources
- Prepare and update documents pertaining to the above items
- Lead 2 or more system engineers
Requirements: - Preferably 4 to 6 years relevant experience, with about 2 years’ experience in managing system team
- Have work experience in setting up and managing a medium to complex networked system
- Have the initiative to propose ways to improve the environment, and to optimize resources, with minimum interruption to the project development schedule
- Effective communicate skills
- Knowledge in Solaris is mandatory.
