Working closely with councilors and social workers at the Ang Mo Kio Family Service Centre (AMKFSC), SG Recuiters together with SMU sponsored a one-day camp for children from low income families.
Project CARE aims to inculcate character development skills in children from low income families in the Ang Mo Kio estate.
These skills, which are ever so important for today’s children, will be taught via the use of interactive group activities and games.
The children will be taught based on a framework of C.A.R.E. values, comprising of cooperation, adaptability, responsibility and esteem. The C.A.R.E. values were chosen as there was a greater need to inculcate and emphasize these values in today’s younger generation.
