The Ministerial Consultations is a forum for both labour sending and receiving countries to share views and experiences in the field of labour mobility policies, and discuss steps for the effective management of labour mobility and temporary contractual labour. Dr Ng will also hold bilateral discussions on manpower and defence issues with his counterparts at the sidelines of the event. Dr Ng will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Manpower.
